Loved By All and Loved All…
Trevor will always be remembered. We all thank Trevor for the 10 years of love and dedication he gave to his family and McGregor Mountain Lodge. From Chippy chasing, to romping in the pond in the spring time, to lounging in the office by the fireplace on a cold winter’s day, Trevor’s gentle loving nature will be held close to our hearts.
Perhaps most will remember Trevor by his daily “rounds”…coming and scratching at your door…especially when the fresh smell of bacon frying caught his nose! He would also love to join you and your family on your nightly cookouts, waiting patiently for any little morsel of food that might slip his way. He was also noted for the wonderful “smile” he would give to those that he hadn’t seen in awile.
Chippy chasing was no doubt his favorite summer past time while pulling off gloves, hats, and other winter apparel of the kids sledding down the hill in the winter came in a close second. Nothing topped off the spring run-off and the pond that filled up behind Cedar Lodge #10 where both he and Daisy would frolic chasing sticks and logs till he wandered down to the office soaking wet and ready to nap by the fire.
Truly, Trevor was an icon of McGregor Mountain Lodge. He will be missed, but his joy, love, playfulness, and companionship will never be lost, but held forever in our hearts.
Please enjoy the following slideshows. The first is a collection of photos from Trevor’s family here at the lodge and the second is one compiled from photos guests have sent to us. Enjoy!
