With spring finally able to make some progress, McGregor is, once again, beginning to reveal its summer time beauty. The seasonal snowmelt stream is running at full strength, the leaves on the trees and bushes are beginning to bud and the bulbs are about to bloom. It’s all so beautiful!
If you want to stay at McGregor and would like to have the stream sing you to sleep at night, there are still openings over the next couple of weeks in the Heather Cottage and the Ponderosa Cottage. Both, with windows open, are able to hear the stream as it trickles by.
Enjoy the video!

It seems as though March and April decided to switch on us this year. March was warm and dry, and April has been cold and very wet! We’ve had a lot of snow this month…probably about 50 inches since April fools day. A few days ago, we were getting a nice steady snowfall that was just georgous. It made everything so beautiful and muffled all of the outside noises as only a sping snow can. I went out and got a little footage for you and hope you enjoy!
Our seasonal pond is full after all of the snow this month and the stream is running right through the middle of the proeprty. It’s so great and so peaceful at night to hear the sound of the water running down the mountainside. I’ll get some video of it this evening and post again tonight or in the morning.
Enjoy folks, and as always, thanks for keeping McGregor in your hearts!
