McGregor Mountain Blog

Our favorite fellas are hanging out on the mountainside as I type this. Lefty, Brat, and Little Boy are lounging in the sun just behind our Chalet Suites. They seem to love our sunny mountainside, even in the summer! Here are a few pics I got of them… enjoy!

Howdy all… I’m terribly sorry for the absence as of late! I didn’t know how popular this blog was and how much all of you McGregor faithfull enjoy reading about the happenings here at the lodge! But I do have a good excuse, I got married a few weeks ago and have been in Italy on our honeymoon until a couple of days ago. I just got my computer set back up and will be back at my usual blog entries… starting NOW!!

It’s great to see that summer has arrived in the Estes Valley. There has been a lot of moisture and cool temps, so everything is exceptionally green and flowers are out in full force. We all love this time of year and always look forward to the warmer temps, longer days, and the flowers that add so much color to the mountain landscape.

Lefty was down yesterday, welcoming me back to town. He is HUGE and his rack is magnificent! He made his usuall rounds and then napped on the mountainside above the lodge. My camera is still packed up so I didn’t get any pictures, but will get some very soon!

It’s a magical time to be in Estes Park and we hope to see you all soon!

I’ll write more tomorrow, with pictures! (I promise!)
