At about 11:45 this morning, Moises, our long time housekeeper, came rushing in telling me to grab my camera and come with him, there was a bear up by #8B. We hopped in the golf cart and by the time we got there, it was up on the hillside behind the Chalet building (#17/18). I spent about 30 minutes shooting this little one and he did some nice posing for me! However, this was the only time I wish I had a better wildlife lens… but some turned out pretty nice. After a while, the little bear just walked up the hill. It was yawning a lot so probably time for a nap!

I am 5 1/2 years old and coming to McGregor Mountain Lodge this Saturday. I really like the pictures of the little black bear. They were so cute. I hope to see lots of wildlife when I am there

Great photos, even without a larger lens; I especially like the ones where the foreground is a little out of focus and the bear is in very sharp focus, really cool. The bear seems like a very willing model, I wonder if it was one of his friends who recently broke into the chocolate shop, it’s feasible.
