McGregor Mountain Blog

It’s a cold overcast day here at McGregor. It’s supposed to snow a bit this afternoon and Steve has been trying to get the layer of ice off the ground before this next dusting falls. Brat and Little Boy have been around all day, laying in the forest above the lodge napping the day away. It is easy to feel a little lazy on a day like this, so I don’t blame them! I went for a stroll around the property and here is a pic of each of our elk friends…

I just have to share a little more of this day with you all! It’s starting to cloud up just a touch, keeping the temps nice and cold, but it’s still a georgous day! The birds are very active enjoying all of the feeders on the property and I even saw a bighorn sheep up on the mountainside as I was plowing later in the morning.  This is one of those days that slaps you in the face with just how special and amazing this place actually is.
