Our sunny, south facing, mountainside bordering Rocky Mountain National Park provides for abundant wildlife on and around the property. Keep your eyes peeled. You never know what you’ll see!
You'll see as much from your cabin door as
you'll see anywhere
Our five mountainside acres border Rocky Mountain National Park. This is the perfect recipe for abundant wildlife and incredible viewing opportunities. The main stars are always the elk, but you’ll see a wide variety of wild critters during your stay.
Watch the mountainside behind your cabin for Bighorn Sheep. Mule deer frequent the grassy yards around the property and wild turkeys are seen daily. Bears have become a more common occurrence, and, if you’re lucky, you may get an exceedingly rare glimpse of a mountain lion or bobcat passing through. Of course rabbits and squirrels are a common site, and the occasional fox zips through looking for its next meal.
Don’t forget to have the camera by your side and ready for action!
